What we collect
- Account info (hosts): your email and name when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Gameplay info: playlists you build and games you host. Players who join a game provide only a display name — no account.
- Basic analytics: anonymous usage data to fix bugs and improve the app.
How we use it
Only to run and improve Wasingo — host your games, sync players, process subscriptions, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
Microphone & voice (hosts only)
When a host uses the in-game megaphone to make a live announcement or shout-out, Wasingo uses your device’s microphone and streams that audio live to the players and TV in that game. The audio is relayed in real time only to deliver the announcement — it is not recorded, stored, or sold. It is held briefly in memory to pass it along and then discarded. Optional on-screen captions are generated on your device using your device’s built-in speech recognition so players who are deaf or hard of hearing can follow along; the caption text is shown live on the game screen and is not stored. The microphone is used only while the host is actively speaking through the megaphone, and you can turn microphone access on or off at any time in your device settings.
Third parties
We use trusted providers to operate the app (e.g. app-store billing for subscriptions, analytics, and crash reporting). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@keyinventions.com. Players can leave a game at any time; their temporary game data is removed when the game ends.
Children
Wasingo is family-friendly and designed to be played with all ages, but hosting accounts are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond a display name used to play.
